How much bark or rock do I need for my project?+
As a rule of thumb, 1 cubic yard of bark covers about 100 sq ft at 3 inches deep, and 1 cubic yard of rock covers about 80 sq ft at the same depth. Use the free online calculator for an estimate, or call our staff for help.
Do you deliver, and how much does it cost?+
Delivery is available on most products throughout Pierce and Thurston counties. Delivery fees depend on distance and the amount of material. Call for a delivered total; same-day delivery is often available.
What is the difference between fine, medium and nugget bark?+
Fine bark has small, uniform shreds. Medium bark is a versatile all-around choice. Nugget bark has larger, chunkier pieces. Visit the yard to compare textures and sizes.
What gravel is useful for a driveway?+
Different driveway projects call for different materials. Minus crushed rock can compact into a firmer surface. Our staff can talk through your base, finish and drainage needs.
Can I see the products before I buy?+

Do you sell by the bag or only in bulk?+
Both. Bulk material by the cubic yard is useful for larger projects, and bagged products are available for smaller jobs.
